No, we do not install the products we sell. We have recommended contractors that we trust, who the customers can hire on their own. We can include their rates in our quotes for a price estimate if you choose to use one of our recommended contractors. You can also hire your own contractor if you would prefer, or you can install the products yourself.
Yes all quotes are absolutely free!
We recommend that you call and book an appointment in our showroom to speak to one of our sales professionals. The reason for this is that we carry such a wide variety of products that it can be difficult to make a decision on what will be the best design and function of the window(s) or door(s) for your home. If you bring the sizes of the rough opening of your window(s) and/or door(s) to your meeting and an idea of what you are looking for, our professionals will have the information they need to begin the quoting process.
All we need is the width and height of the rough opening in your wall, and the style of window or door you would like to get a rough idea of what the price will be. Any additional details (glass type, brick mould, screens, grilles, jamb depths, colour, etc.) are helpful for quoting purposes as well but are not necessary to determine a ballpark price to work from.
The wait time can vary depending on how busy our suppliers are during your time of order. Since they are manufacturing a spectrum of custom products for a number of customers, you can understand that during their busy season the wait time may increase. The average delivery time is 4-5 weeks, but it can be as low as 3 weeks.
It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days to get a quote, depending on the amount of product needed and how busy our team is. We have a small team of three sales professionals, who also deliver and service their windows, and are owners of the business. You can understand that during busy times it may take a few days to receive your quote.
No, we do not offer financing because we found that financing deals cause the customer to end up paying much more money than what their order is valued at. When financing, the interest fees are hidden in the cost, which is deceiving to the customer. In our experience, it is much more affordable for the customer to apply for a line of credit or loan from a bank than to receive a financing deal because their interest rates are much lower.
We understand that a full window and door replacement of a home can be very expensive, especially when you have other expenses that need to be paid as well. What we like to recommend is to complete the replacement in phases to reduce the financial stress of a huge purchase. For example, replace the north side of your house during the summer, the following spring you can replace the south side, and the next summer or fall you complete the east and west sides of your home. This is just an example that we commonly see, you can divide the phases as you see fit. An advantage to this method over financing is that you will never pay interest on the windows and doors you purchase.
